Gene is a student at Darkley's Boarding School for Bad Boys.

History[]

Double Trouble[]

Shortly after Lloyd escapes the Boarding School, Brad, Gene, and the others sent Lloyd a fake invitation However, upon arriving Lloyd and the Ninja finds out that the invitation was a trick and he knocks the Ninja out and lock them in an office with the teachers while they capture Lloyd and try to turn him evil. However, Brad hears something and they investigate and they see the Bizarro Ninja (who they believe are the Ninja) and they try to take them down but, fail which causes them to retreat. That's when they see the real Ninja fighting against the Bizarro Ninja and Gene deduces a plan to help the Evil Ninja and also explaining how a single blow would defeat the Evil Ninja. Lloyd, after trying to lie saying how he's still evil, saids that he's good and so is Brad and how everyone else is too. Gene, knowing his father will be mad, turns good and they make customes of the Ninja to confuse the Evil Ninja and the teachers decide to celebrate their transformation to good.

Ninjaball Run[]

Brad, Gene and the rest of Darkley's Boarding School enter the Ninjaball Run race and sabotages the Ninja's Ultra Sonic Raider and when the race began, the Bus managed to crash Captain Soto's vehicle in the Crashcourse Canyon but, the bus was soon taken down after a clash between the Ninja and Lord Garmadon's Serpentine forces.

The Surge[]

After Darkley's Boarding School for Great Children was turned into Wu's Academy, he was seen in Kai's class learning about Ninjago's history and when Brad got a remote that controls Zane, Gene rushed in with the other students to see and wasn't present at the tour for Borg Tower.

The Curse of the Golden Master[]

He was at the Ninjago City Aquarium, under Dareth's supervision and was fiddling with a device in the Ninjago City Aquarium entrance hall.

The Titanium Ninja[]

After Zane's sacrifice, Gene was present at Zane's funeral and was sitting next to Sally, for the statue's unveiling.
